This research indicates that more than 40 percent of institutions plan to focus more attention on online students and about 25 percent plan to focus more attention on either graduate or undergraduate adult students as they seek to mitigate enrollment challenges in 2020 and beyond. Scott Jeffe has worked with more than 200 institutions in 40+ states to apply market data to strategic decisions. With a focus on profiling the demands and preferences of nontraditional (adult, online, etc.) students, Scott has developed a unique sensitivity to ensuring that programs align with student demand while upholding institutional mission and values. He is a regular presenter at national conferences and is the author or co-author of numerous reports, more recently a national study on the demands and preference of post-traditional graduate students.
