Prior to his position with the UMES, he held positions as, Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Services at Wiley University; Director of Admissions and Recruitment at Morehouse College, Edward Waters College, Albany State University, and Emory University. He has over 15 years of experience in the enrollment management arena. A champion of ethical leadership development, he has been successful in consistently facilitating attainment of higher education for undergraduate and graduate students across the United States.

LaToya Jenkins, MBA
Vice President, Enrollment Management & Student Experience, University of Maryland Eastern Shore
Mrs. LaToya Jenkins joined UMES in September 2019 as Special Assistant to the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Experience. Over the past four years, she has served as the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Experience, where she crafts and implements transformative enrollment strategies while leading the operations of 11 dynamic teams. Her work drives high-impact services for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, directly contributing to the financial and enrollment health of the institution.
