Dr. Sherri Erkel joined the RNL consulting team in 2016, bringing 18 years of progressive and diverse experiences in enrollment and retention at both public and private institutions with large and small enrollments. At Eastern Oregon University (OR) and St. Ambrose University (IA), she directed recruitment and enrollment operations, new student transitions including orientation and welcome week, and first- and second-year experience programs.
Dr. Lisa Duncan Raines
VP for Enrollment, Student Success, & Institutional Effectiveness, Christopher Newport University
Dr. Lisa Duncan Raines began her career in higher education at Virginia Tech prior to joining the administration of Christopher Newport University in 2004. She presents more than 30 years of experience in higher education leadership in the areas of University Advancement (Planned Giving); Scholarships; Financial Aid; Advising; Accreditation; Admissions; Assessment; Career Services; Enrollment; Institutional Research; Registration; and Student Services and has held previous leadership positions prior to becoming vice president which include University Registrar, Dean of Enrollment Services, and Vice Provost.
Evanne Raible, Ed.D.
Senior Director of Transfer and Student Success Services, Christopher Newport University
Dr. Evanne Raible joined Christopher Newport University in November 2018 with oversight of the Transfer Center. In the Summer of 2022, she assumed additional responsibilities with oversight of the Center for Student Success and is currently serving as the Senior Director of Transfer and Student Success Services. Prior to rejoining Christopher Newport, she worked for over six years in the Office of Academic Support Services at William and Mary working directly with students and providing academic advising, peer tutoring services and student development programming.
