Mary has worked in institutional research since 1999. Committed to the community college mission, Mary and her team provide data and analysis that seeks to improve programs, services, and outcomes for students. They also seek to identify potential barriers to student success, including those affecting certain groups more than others.
  
Dr. Stephen Thorpe
Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness, Widener University (PA)
Dr. Stephen Thorpe joined Widener University in January 2006. For nearly two decades, Dr. Thorpe has held several responsible positions in higher education, having served as Assistant Provost of Institution Research, Planning and Assessment at Drexel University, and Director of Institutional Research at LaSalle University. Prior to coming to Widener University, Dr. Thorpe served as Vice President for Academic Affairs at Neumann University.
Dr. Ada Uche
Director of Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness, Colorado Technical University (CO)
Dr. Ada Uche manages CTU's Assessment processes and provides guidance to both academic and non-academic units on institutional planning, compliance, and reporting for accreditation. Ada has over 12 years of experience in higher education. Dr. Uche is also Assistant Professor in the College and Business and Management at CTU. Ada's research examines the institutional policies that impact retention in the STEM disciplines for first-generation college students.
