Jake's fundraising career began when he was an engagement ambassador at Illinois State University where he rose to a supervisor position and the RNL apprentice program, setting a fundraising record for the ISU call center. Jake was the Engagement Center Manager at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. During fiscal year 2020, Jake excelled at client relations and facilitated a smooth transition from in-person to remote engagement in the spring of that year during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She most recently served as director of annual giving at DePaul University, where she integrated new digital technology, expanding giving day efforts, and launched successful leadership annual giving and crowdfunding programs.
