3, 2, 1, Liftoff: Counting Down the Steps to Launch Successful Digital Advertising Campaigns

Graduate and online students search for programs online. RNL's 2022 survey of online students indicates that all three of the most frequently used information sources are digital, and our 2023 survey of graduate students indicates that digital sources are the very first step 99 percent of the time.

But just having digital campaigns does not mean they will successfully connect with these vital student audiences. Only 70 percent of online students and just 60 percent of graduate students clicked on digital ads during their search. Success is as much about the content and messaging as the channel or platform.

In this webinar, we discuss all the elements of successful digital marketing campaigns that boost enrollment, through the lens of RNL's work with Duke University. We also share Duke's story from start to finish to launch a lead generation campaign for new academic programs, sharing unique perspectives and unexpected discoveries about audience and messaging development, channel strategy, and lead time.
