About the presenters
Nathan Ament, Vice President of Enrollment Management, Loyola New Orleans
Nathan is an experienced enrollment manager having served in leadership roles at a variety of institutions in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and Louisiana. He also has extensive experience in CRM technology, along with communication and marketing strategies, having worked in consultative sales positions at both TargetX and KelmscottEDU. Nathan believes in managing an enrollment operation with an eye on logic, humility, and humor. His 20-year career has provided him with practical experience in all areas of strategic enrollment management and execution—financial aid leveraging, staff management, cross-campus relationship building, and visit experiences, to name a few. Nathan has been successful with a cooperative, data-driven, and inventive approach to enrollment and he draws on these experiences when developing and executing strategy for Loyola University New Orleans.
Dr. Jose Aviles, Vice President for Enrollment, Louisiana State University
Dr. Aviles is dedicated to serving students, inspired by his own educational journey as a first-generation college student. Throughout the last two decades, Dr. Aviles has intentionally served eight different institutions ranging from the most selective institution in the country to a community college. At every stop, Dr. Aviles has lead teams that have successfully enrolled the most diverse and academically accomplished freshmen classes in institutional history.
Dr. Jeffrey Gates, Senior Vice President for Student Life and Enrollment Management, Utica College
Jeff began at Utica College in 2015. Prior to that, he was a recruiter for the SUNY system. Jeff's tenure at Utica has seen the average student debt decrease, a rise in retention and graduation rates, and an increase in admissions yield. Additionally, with affordability playing a critical role at Utica, Jeff and President Casamento engineered a tuition reset.

Dr. Anne Monroe, Senior Vice President, Client Experience and Engagement, RNL
Dr. Anne Monroe has served in admissions and student services since 1997. Her areas of expertise include enrollment management, campus marketing, adult and transfer student enrollment, and student services such as advising, residential life, and counseling.
