Be Student Ready: Identify At-Risk Students and Intervene for Success
Tuesday, March 28, 2017 | 3:00pm ET
It’s not uncommon for higher education professionals to ask if students are ready for college. But how often do we ask if we are ready for our students? We know that our student populations are more diverse than ever before, have lower levels of academic preparation and greater risk for success particularly if they are first-generation students. These realities challenge colleges and universities to re-examine their capacity to be “student ready” on day one. Will you have the right data (not just the “big” data) at the right time to identify at risk students and intervene early and effectively?
This webinar will present the latest in our national data on entering students’ motivation to complete college and challenges they are facing in realizing their goals. Participants will gain practical insights into the value of having motivational/noncognitive data to design effective interventions at key points in the student lifecycle.
